The Trust’s Aims and Objectives

The primary aim of the Trust is to fund the full or part travel costs for school leavers before university or college.

The objectives are to provide an environment for personal growth with the acquisition of life skills as well as the building of self-confidence.

To learn about other cultures and environments through travel and voluntary work either by travelling individually or as part of a group.

The long-term aim is for the Trust to generate funds to assist an increased number of school leavers, allowing them the opportunity to gain from this valuable break in their academic education in order to educate themselves in a different and rewarding way.

The Trust was able to help Jill Hamilton of Appin complete the funding she required to take up a place wit the Fulcrum Trust working with young people in Kenya.

With development you don’t actually realize it’s happening until it’s happened, and them you can only look back and be aware and appreciate.
